  • Tamarisk tree that Abraham planted was not for him but for future generations. A testament to his faith in God’s promise. In Israel the Jewish peoples will ask “what is the Tamarisk tree you have planted. Meaning what have you left for future generations.
    Sometimes called salt cedar tree which roots reach way down into the desert to find water. It draws water and salt and releases in its leaves. If you see a tamarisk tree in Israel, it can give relief from the heat as it is many degrees cooler under the tree. Genesis at Beersheba well of oath. 21:33
